- some vignetting, minor CA but significant barrel distortion
- some cat's eye peripheral bokeh wide open
- sharpness wide open is excellent, even better at f/2.8
- nice sun-star effects at f/16-f/22

- Some barrel distortion visible with architectural subjects
- Lateral and longitudinal CA noticeable at wide / medium apertures
- Focus-by-wire focusing won't be to everyone’s taste
- AF motor not particularly discreet
