- Edward AYTON (1810-1875) daughter Maria married a Thomas Yaxley family and friends from Norfolk, England to Tasmania and emigrated to Aust. in 1857-62.

A group of people from Norfolk emigrated to Tasmania in mid-19thC and settled in a district just west of Devonport which became known as Norfolk Creek, Tasmania:
