Samsung NX Mini mirrorless camera system
see also:
introduction
- following the popularity of the Micro Four Thirds system, in 2009, Samsung entered the mirrorless camera systems market with their NX camera system based upon an APS-C sized sensor - the same size as Sony NEX E-mount camera system and thus has the same problem in requiring substantially larger lenses than the Micro Four Thirds system system and thus like Sony, misses the whole point of designing compact mirrorless cameras.
- in March 2014, Samsung announced a new mirrorless system - the Samsung NX Mini which uses a 1“ sensor as with the Nikon 1 mirrorless camera system with the same 2.7x crop factor, and sports a new lens mount - the NX-M
- see mirrorless camera systems for a comparison of the systems.
