Introduction
- photorealistic CGI is looming as a threat to authentic photography which as already taken a hit with post-processing techniques which allow easy removal or addition of image components as well as distortion and morphing techniques
- CGI has long been used in movies but is now starting to make its way into still photography as costs and time to create photorealistic CGI come down which may result in marked reduction in the need for using actual models to sell products
