nice gently sloping, slashed grass, forested (Yellow Stringybark and white trunked Mountain Grey Gums), relatively large camp site in a relative rain shadow region
4km gravel road but 2WD accessible
one drop toilet at end of the day area
swampy waterhole just beyond the day area
day area section picnic table and firepit are bollarded
plenty of shady spots
accessible by caravans in good weather.
King parrots, gang-gang parrots, rosellas, cockatoos and kookaburras are common. Echidnas, koalas, kangaroos, wombats can be found through the forest
nature trail (2k, 1hr) north up creek through Grey Gums (E. cypellocarpa)
