Victorian campgrounds allowing dogs
Introduction
- dogs are NOT allowed at all in most parts of National Parks and State Parks including:
- State Parks such as:
- Mount Buangor and Langi Ghiran (but can take them to nearby Mt Cole eg. Chinaman's camp ground)
dogs are allowed off leash
near the coast
- None officially?
inland
- most “bush camps” in Victoria EXCEPT those outlined above in the DOGS Are NOT allowed section, and below in the section “on leash only areas”

- many commercial camp grounds such as (check with them!)

- Shallow Inlet Camping Area near Wilsons Prom
- Seaspray Caravan Park, Gippsland
- Paradise Valley, Gippsland
- Camp Kooyoora Campground near Melville Caves
- Blackwood Springs Caravan Park
- Nug Nug Reserve Camping Ground & Caravan Park
- Aireys Inlet Holiday Park - off peak only
- Apollo Bay Recreation Reserve
- Princetown Rec Reserve
- Henty Bay Beachfront Holiday Park Portland
- Howqua Hills / Sheepyard Flats camping area - Fry's Flat, Tunnel Bend sections however, there are dingoes / wild dogs around
- Ludlows Reserve – Hume Weir
- Lake Elizabeth, Otways
- Otway Forest Park
- Johanna Beach
- Corringle Foreshore Campground
- Glasshouse Camping Area – Lake Tyers Forest Park
- Pettmans Beach Campground
- Trident Arm Track Camping Area
- Camerons Arm Camping area
- Banksia Bluff, Gippsland - dog section and no dogs allowed section
- Lerderderg Campground
- Creswick Regional Park
- Jerusalem Creek, Lake Eildon National Park
- Melville Caves campground, Kooyoora State Park - in camp ground only - not allowed at all at the caves, picnic area or walking tracks
- Lake Hindmarsh
- Woodside Coastal Area:
- Reeves Beach, McLoughlins Beach and McGaurans Beach
- certain areas within Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park:
- Barrier Landing, Ocean Grange, Paradise Beach, Loch Sport Causeway, The Wreck, Flamingo Beach, The Honeysuckles and between camp sites one to six on Shoreline Drive at Golden Beach
- Greens Lake Recreation Reserve campground Corop
- Blue Pool Briagolong ?off leash
- Lake Lascelles, Hopetoun ?off leash
