  • centre sharpness declines as focal length increases
  • at 12mm, distortion measures -1.6% barrel
  • minimal pincushion at 18mm, increasing to +0.32% at 25mm and reducing to +0.1% at 40mm
  • CA well controlled in the centre less so on edges but still very good
  • IS is 2-3EV
  • bokeh a little fussy
