these generally only use one trek pole as a centre pole
main design issue is the acute angle of the inner tent means it is close to your head when sleeping, and those with a centre pole will limit width of sleeping pads
in addition to being reasonably storm proof, they
can make great stealth tents in a stealth emergency as you could dismantle and flatten the tent while you are inside just by removing the centre pole and then easily re-instate it

set the inner up first (pegged corners and trek pole in centre), then place the fly over it and attache the 4 toggles of the inner to the fly, then peg out the fly corners ~4“ out from the inner tent corner pegs, then the side pegs, and finally the door pegs - pegging can be an iterative process until you get all sides nice and taut. If it is windy, guy out the 4 tie out points. It would have been better if each tie out had adjustable tensioners to save re-pegging
